Dear, golden welding joints are carried out for Tie In points welding with the exemption of Hydrotesting of the piping loop. But to compensate the hydro-test strong NDT tests have to be performed.
Normally, 100 % DPT at root weld and all layers of welding joint in addition to final Radiographic testing.Regards,
