Following are the advantages of removal of contaminants from Amine by applying filtration system;
1. Prevention of foaming in Amine
2. Reduction in corrosion problems
3. Fouling related problems are reduced in the process
4. Increased lifetime of the carbon bed filter
5. Reduced amine consumption
6. Amine efficiency and plant capacity is maintained
If filtration systems amine are not operated correctly, then the amine units regularly face several problems, such as high operating costs, lean separation efficiency of H2S, amine losses, and excessive maintenance costs.
