1. Optimize excess air as per design with minimum flow.
2. Close the damper and maintain the draft.
3. Clean the convection and radiation tubes in turnaround.
4. Ensure sealing of peep holes.
5. Preheat the fuel gas.
6. Preheat the process fluid before entering the furnace.
7. Ensure balance burning in furnace.
