      Hi
Hope so you all are fine

Kindly guide me about fired heater designing. How should I start my designing

As I studied about fired heater designing is that we have to assume several parameters and values like dimensions tube length and diameter, average radiant flux, efficiency of heater and radiant zone.

I am totally confused if you are going to assumed these things then what we designing in heater ?

      I referred books which are
      1) Heat transfer method by J. McKetta
      2) Process Heater Transfer by Donald Q Kern
      3) Heat transfer in process engineering by Eduardo cao

      Hi Hamza,
Designing of Fired Heater is very complex and lengthy procedure which required a lots of calculations and assumptions. Assumptions used in designing are based of previous historical data of heaters, best industrial practices for specific applications, codes and standards e.g. API & ASME etc.
I am sharing EXXONMOBIL design practices for fired heaters which contains detailed design procedure, selection philosophies etc.
